Haywood @ Bolivar tomorrow

This game must not mean anything to anyone anymore. You have two of the top teams in AA battling it out in Bolivar tomorrow and no one mentions the game. It should be a good one after Bolivar lost to Fayette-Ware. Haywood is also coming off a close one to JCM. What does everyone have to say about this game? It should be a good one and another get there early and get a seat game.

There doesn't seem to be much discussion on this game. It is definitely going to be a battle. The Jackson Sun had a big article in the paper today on the game:

I like the respect that Willie showed to Haywood in the paper, saying, they are as good as any team they will play all year. Both games they played last year were battles til the end and I expect tonight to be similar. I hope everyone is healthy for both teams. I think they will both make some noise come March.

Will Lee Liggin play tonite.....he didnt play the last two game is he injured or kicked off the team.....he is the 2nd best player on the team. He is a senior and need to step up.....cause Haywood back court is very young.....2 sophmores back there most of the time.

Bolivar wins a low scoring contest in front of a packed house 51-41. These are two big rivals. I was somewhat surprised by the low score. Haywood jumped out to an 8-0 lead to begin the game. Freshman Chris Reaves led the Tigers with 12, Chism 10, Kemp 9, Madden 8, Crisp 7, and Rhodes 5.
