get over it. McMinn is going to come out in the District and take it home. then the sub and take it and then the state. No one will stop us after Christmas tourn....

 

HAHAHAHA....do you think this christmas tourney is gonna help your team??? please. what is the point of playing in a single-a tourney that doesnt even have good teams??? so you kill the teams you play..they arent any good anyway. why dont you go scrimmage a couple junior high elementary teams..it's all the same. go to some good tournments and play some good teams, THATS WHAT MAKES YOUR TEAM BETTER. all i have to say is sorry. the lady cherokees wont make it outta districts this year

I have to agree with you on this swoosh. lol. don't have the coaching to go along with the 5 good players he has.

Nothing is predictable beyond that fact that at some point in a District 5-AAA game yet to be played, McMinn will own an 11 pt. second half lead and lose by 3. Of course, the blowing of this lead will be due in part to a referee conspiracy.

 

Is there a Zapruder film for McMinn Lady Cherokee basketball? Frame 185, back and to the left, back and to the left.

Congrads to Cleveland!!!!! Gosh we are 0-3 in the district. what is next??? Central beating US? or maybe at Christmas one of the teams that we will be playing beat us? Only reason why we are going to Lenior City Christmas tourn is to have more wins, or that is my thinking. Why do we need to go to these single A and double a tourns? WE are a AAA school...

 

 

Most of the teams in the LC tourney are AAA

Don't worry about that ladycherokees, she doesn't have a good ideal of the game. I am thinking she might even be the assit. coach there. (joking). If the parents wanted a close tourn then this is the one. Don't think there is to much comp. there but still. close to McMinn county and should win all three games by 20 points or more. That is even the boys.

 

1 Boyd Buchanaan is not doing good this year.

2. Suquoyah in the same boat.

3. Lenoir City is there also.

 

not knocking on these teams but McMinn has a very strong starting 5.

 

GO WALKER VALLEY!!!!!!

WALKER VALLEY will win all their games also.

So there are more AAA teams than AA. How do we get the unluck of the draw to

play all 3 AA teams that between them have 8 wins? One of the AAA teams has only won a couple of games though. I understand not wanting to play W. Valley outside of the district but why not Heritage, there is some top notch competition. Even the AAA team with a bad record would be better than 3 AA teams with losing records. Can a coach not request a better draw than that? :thumb::):(

Yes a coach can request better teams to play but if you are McMinn's coach you want wins, wins, and more wins. Makes you look a little better since he has shown that he can't coach against great coached teams! Such as (Jackson co singe A) Cleveland two times. and don't forget Cumberland co. All three games they had a big point lead but blew it all three times. I really don't see this Christmas tourn doing anything but making him look good in the DPA!! :lol:

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
