They better be ready to play in that tough christmas tourney they play in. Boyd Buchanan, Sequoyah, is that for real? I believe anybody could have them ready for the teams they are playing and with Kerri back they probably won't be able to beat the lady raiders. But they are better than I thought they would be, its just that their scedule and tournaments are a joke just like the mcminn cherokees scedule and tourneys.

Schedules are made during the fall by the A.D. or coach, so I am not so sure about that. I figured it was just because Coach Lee of Lenoir City called and asked Tucker to come up and join them. Coach Lee is one of the most respected coaches and nice guys to be in the professional ranks. I have never met anyone that does not like and praise him. It would be hard to tell him no even if you knew it was going to be primarily an AA tourney and your draw would not be particularly strong.

you are right. Coach Lee is respected by Coach Tucker, Besides Coach Tucker always ask for them to come to WV for playdays and such

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
