I guess you can take it out on the Times-Free Press since they are the ones who are putting this together. They probably had it scheduled that way before the season started.

 

What a dumb tournament!! Why not have two more teams from the area compete to round out the bracket? Just another example of how bad the Times Free Press is after the two papers joined....Im sure if they had a football tournament they would have 36 teams in it, and give it a whole section of the newspaper.....S

Where did you get the info about the brackets?

This is the bracket that was sent to Grace where McCallie and Temple have a bye in thr first round. I think Wadley actually put the bracket together.

The Times Free Press has nothing to do with this tournament other than being the sponsor. Temple is hosting the tourney so therefore they made out the brackets. Do you really think someone down at the newspaper drew this thing up?

I know CCS was going to be in it again this year. Not sure about the other team, but i know they had an 8 team tournament just like last year.

I thought someone told me that Baylor was supposed to be in it, but I'm not really sure if that was true or not.

That sounds right. But baylor is always slow to play private schools like Grace, Temple, and CCS.

Here is how i see the tourny playing out.

1st Christian Heritage

2nd Tenn Temple

3rd Soddy Daisy

 

The Temple vs Soddy Daisy game is a toss up to me but ill take Temple since their at home. The way Grace has been playing lately I dont like their chances, but if they turn it around theres no question they have a team that could win it.

Thats what makes it intersting I could see any team in the tournament winning. Well i would be very VERY suprised if Unaka won.
