Temple 97 21st Cent. 62 Just to tell ya how this game went -- the manager of the Temple basketball team suited up tonight for Senior Night (Justin Walls) and hit 4 three pointers towards the end of the game. It was crazy! Way to go Justin!

Yeah, I suppose Temple (having 17 fouls called against them in the second half versus only 6 against PC) did get away with a lot of fouls and "had the best of the officiating by far." Good call.

Yes, I have seen their defensive line and they are good. But I just don't think that they are going to "shut down" TT's running game. And if they do, TT will do it with the passing game. I agree with hoopster, I just don't see Temple only scoring 14 points. If they do, I will be very surprised. Oh, and if Temple only scores 14 -- I will be back on here to eat my crow.

I saw TC play LV last week and noticed that #24 (QB) for TC likes to run the ball alot. Is that pretty typical of TC? It didn't appear to me that they had much of a passing game. They had one at the very beginning of the game where #24 connected with #11 on a long (not very well defended) pass for a TD, but that was about it. TC mostly blocks well up front and runs it up the middle (mostly by the QB). I think the difference in this game will be the coaching. Can the seasoned veteran coach of TC outwit the "daddy coaches" of Temple? Will TT's Coach Kell play a valuable part in the coaching strategy? I think he will.

I would take Temple's backfield over any in 1A.

I'm not sure who you're listening to or reading, but I've not heard or seen anything to show that the Temple players are being "cocky". And I am sure they could care less what the newspapers are saying. I didn't realize the newspapers were leading them into "false hopes"?

I noticed that #24 (QB) for TC likes to run the ball a lot, but he is really not that good of a passer. #11 is not all that great when he comes in at QB. The only really good pass TC had was right at the beginning of the game against LV. #24 hit #11 on a long pass for a TD but that was about it. The rest of the scoring was done on the ground. LV did not read the defense all that well against TC, but I believe Temple will do a much better job at this. It should be a good game between these two teams. I'm sure both of these teams will be fighting hard to get the win.

It looks like it will be on Friday night, possibly at Lookout Valley's field. When I get the final word I'll let y'all know.
