Well I said that the only chance CC had was to hold the Eagles in the 40's to low 50's and they did it and almost pulled it off. Great gameplan and hard playing for CC combined with poor shooting and no post play production from the kids down low almost spelled doom for the Eagles. Shelbyvilles a great team, probably not #1 , nonetheless a great achievement, but need to do more and get from more role players to justify it. BTW congrats to Twilley now has over 1,600 points in his career.

Who said anything about that? Heres the deal, the better the competetion the better Shelbyville plays. The teams they have beaten were not cupcakes, unfair to assume that they could not beat one of those teams. As evidence who thought they would beat BA.

I think the teams in Memphis are better. They have more talent.

Shelbyville missed thier first 9 or 10 shots and got down by 8 or 9 points right out of the gates . Twilley had only 19 but held Micah to 12. Stewart's 24 was really needed. SCHS played 5 or 6 off the bench for several good minutes.

Hats off to CCHS thier zone defense was very effective. Hats off to Micah ,that kid is fun to watch. Great matchup tonight with Twilley.
