I guess I was wrong it wasn't much of a close game. Rockwood only scored either 2 or 3 points in the third quarter to Cosby's 17. Not sure what the final score was but Cosby won by about 25.

 

I was disappointed at Rockwood's play. They didn't look like they were hustling very much and did not play hard.

 

I really thought it would be a closer game, but way to go EAGLES!!

 

Next up Unaka. I hope that game doesn't go 7 OT's like Unaka's game the other night.

Region rundown...

1. Cosby - On top until someone beats them

2. Rockwood - Is coached well with good post players (rank 2 if I had to, beat Wart)

2. Wartburg - Has the ability to score in bunches (rank 3, beat OS)

2. Oliver Springs - Is a deep team if healthy (rank 4-rematch with Wart 2-3)

5. Harriman - Has a good top 4, but no help after that.

5. Midway - A SR lead team that no one will want to play b/c of style of play.

7. Coalfield - Has some talent, but no inside game.

8. Oneida, Sunbright, Oakdale - A toss up, all seem similiar, young.

 

The rest..TSD, Grace Christian, Greenback......I don't think they have it this year to make serious noise in the region. P.S. I hope you use this for motivation to shock list above!

no one can run with them...they are fast and their speed plus ability is winning games big.

 

Just hope Matthew McGaha or Russell Valentine can fill the role of Hewitt - if in fact he is injured badly.

Dude,they just played.Cosby blew them out it wasnt even fun to watch.Cosby held Rockwood to 3 points in the 3rd quarter that is some good defence.well now its Unaka tuesday.
