South Pittsburg vs. Hardy High

So the Pittsburg bias fans are out in full force tonight. Let's look at this "great" pirates team season thus far. 11-5.. impressive. From just looking at the record I would say the team is doing good, but then again let's look at the losses.

 

They've lost to:

Temple

Bledsoe

CSAS

McCallie

21st century (granted Robinson was out).

 

Now let's look at the 11 wins:

Sewanee

Whitwell

RH

SC

LV

Boyd Christian

Marion Co.

 

Wow guys, nice job. You beat lower eschlon teams, but when it comes time to play against the big dogs you lose. That's why the team isn't going anywhere in the region. They're either going to lose to CSAS, Temple, or Grace and get put out. Don't get on here and try to talk their team up when their district is full of bottom feeders in the region. They're not going to be able to compete with the top teams come tournament time.

 

Football Fan - the reason SP doesn't play well against SC is because SC runs a 2-2-1 full court press. SP guards are unable to break a press or handle the ball for that matter so they throw the ball all over the gym.

 

and the best player in the region is Seth Skogen by far.

K Man some things you are right about and some things you are not. They lost to McCallie with their B Team. 5 of the top 7 players were not there. They also lost to 21st Century when 3 or 4 starters were held out. If a team is not very deep then they can't have that many out. They are not a bad team though.

SP has had no impressive wins. The wins SP has accumulated are teams that are constantly locked in the cellar of their district.

who are the hawks. They are nobody and are about to find out what SP is really about tonight. They will mop the floors with the Hawks. Joe will be so exausted when he has to chase them and will quit after the 2nd quarter. South Pittsburg is one of the best teams around and Sale Creek can't even play with lookout valley. South Pittsburg was just toying with Sale Creek and Richard Hardy. They respect Creative Arts more than those two teams. I think that they will win the district championship. Cause all them teams stink. Myers won't get anything and nor will Zinna cause SP is gonna shut them down.

[Rackball]

Grace.....Stay out of this thread...You never have anything good to say. You only talk alot during basketball season, because Grace usually gets "Racked" in every other sport. As for this Rackball game, the Pirates should easily "rack" the hawks. Kmarv.......go practice with your team some more, they stink. I watched them play the other night.
