York Coach Out of Control!

Coach Ernie Winningham of the York Institute Dragons was preparing to do his regular scheduled interview of the highlights of the game that had just taken place. On his way to the booth, he came across a players father who was commenting about how his son felt about the game he had just played with another players mother. Coach Winningham proceeded to yell at the parent and ask him to "say it now" When the parent refused to follow up with his comments, the coach took it upon himself to pursue the parent and confront him in a violent manner. Coach Winningham punched the parent repeatedly in the face and proceeded to throw him into a conglomorated stack of tables. This quarrel resulted in the parent being sent to the hospital to have stitches placed in his bald head to stop the gushing blood.

 

This coach has had a violent history and after three losing seasons the community is left to wonder if he will finally be fired for his outrageous behavior....

Totally unexceptable!!!! Coach needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY!!!

OMG......I am not real familar with the york program but how long has he coach there?

 

I hope the parent is goin to be ok and that the proper action will be took with the coach

This outfit should be FIRED as soon as they can get to it. There is not any room for behaviour like this and it should not be tolerated by the TSSAA.

Your statement is not true. York is a very good school. The management of York has been excellent for years. If this incedent happened the way it has been stated in the above statements, then the least of the coach's problems is getting fired.
