Central vs. Boone

I think Central has a very good shot at beating Daniel Boone again. This time it should be better because we are on our home court, let's just hope we don't get the ref with a flat top again he has it in for the guys. We did pretty good last time by working the ball in and drawing fouls or making lay-ups. I think that is a pretty good strategy to start with and if it doesn't work we can always kick it out and shoot the 3-ball. I think it will be a very physical game, but if the cougars keep calm and keep their composure then we should have no problem. The guys just have to go on there with a positive attitude and make Boone play our game. We need to make good passes, smart shots, and make the game go at our pace. Good luck guys and GO COUGARS!!!

If Central can come out shooting the ball like we did at THS should be a good night. Got to play defense and dont give Boone a lot of open shots because they've got some shooters. I'd say Central by 10

Coming out shooting could be a good thing, but if we are not on we will need to find another alternative to score. Like Bolivar at the Arby's we went 0-9 from the arc, but we worked the ball around and got it inside and got layups. We definately need to have good ball movemet, that will be very important.

I'm bettin Central will have a busy yet successful week with basketball. We have 3 games this week including Wednesday's homecoming and senior night with Twin Springs, which obviously will be a huge turnout crowdwise... I think TS beat us by 3 last game? But Boone and Volunteer we have already seen and beat. I agree if our shooting is on like it was at Tennessee High and we play defensively like we are capable, the Cougars should have no problems this week

In following the Cougars for the last 30 years, I have found out one thing, no team can be taken for granted. With the district tournment less than two weeks away, we need to keep our focus and take care of business. We don't need to take any of these last four games lightly. Go Cougars!
