Slick24
Powell lost Nick Lakin SS, and Cory Spradlin C, but both have been replaced by to solid players, Matt Hargis will move to Shortstop and TJ Farmer will come in from Center Field and play second thats a pretty solid middle infield if you ask me, i know Hargis is a player and Farmer looked pretty sharp Tuesday night against Anderson County, but he also is a heck of a Center fielder and if he dosent hold up a 2B then he will move back to Center Field and Jimmy Franklin would move back into 2B he finshed up the year there last year. Catcher will be takin over by a Sophmore Nick Pressly he looked very good behind the plate Tuesday night, he was blockin everything up, i dont think a ball got by him maybe 1, he also threw a couple people out, so i dont think they lost that much. They have also gained some, first off they got alot more expirence, and then they are suppose to have a couple Freshman that can play and both played alot in the scrimmage, Justin Hobby LH P/OF came in the game in the 4th inning and didnt give up a run, and the other Freshman is Andrew Green LH P/OF, started in left field and came in to pitch in the 6th inning and didnt give up any runs either. Powell looks to be about a .500 team this year.

chsbaseball41
We played Maryville a last week sometime. They are pretty solid in their hitting, their pitching was decent, no Lockwood's or anything. Should be pretty good scrimmage for you guys. Good luck.
