That looks like a good group thus far. Hey what about those girls from McMinn Central. They call them the 3 Killa K's? Are they playing? I heard K. Williams from Tyner is getting some looks from major D-1 schools...even UTC is trying to come on now. I heard they haven't paid her the time of day all season long, and now she drops 42 in the region game, now they are trying to jump on the bandwagon. Come on Moore....get your stuff together!!!!!! They should have been on Williams all year long!!!!!!!

I agree about Katriece. I know they signed some guards last year, and I didn't pay close attention to their recruiting needs. Let's lighten-up on Coach Moore. Maybe their recruiting needs changed as the season progressed, and they did win the Southern Conference Championship! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, but I think their needs to be better attention paid to one's backyard.

No word from the Katie, Katie, and Katelyn. We'll see!

I hear what you are saying doc6...what does that stand for anyway? I just think Moore and his staff should do a better job of protecting your backyard....its kind of like protecting your homecourt. Who ever heard of a guy going to get gas, when he has a full tank? What a minute, maybe its like a guy who has a free Benz sitting in his driveway, but he decides to go out, and pay to buy a Buick. Doesn't make much sense how you look at it.

Why isn't Butler, Wells, and Pickel in that group playing in the all-star game? I would think that those three would be top picks. They are three of the best seniors in the area. Were they invited?

The list above represents those that have committed to play in the game. The girls (and guys) from Walker Valley, Bradley Central, and Cleveland generally participate in this event, and Coach Tucker has committed to coaching one of the girl's teams this year. Hopefully, they're just a little late getting their paperwork in.

Pickel and Butler's college coaches might not want them to play in the game.

Okay...why wouldn't their college coaches want them to play in this game. That is ridiculous to me. If they were invited to the McDonalds All-American game, do you think the coach would tell them not to play in that as well? Not trying to compare this game to the McDonalds game...let's get that clear. Its the last time they get to suit up for one last time in front of their family and friends, because most of these kids never know when their last game is going to be, because they lose in the tournament unexpectantly, but this, they know will be their last game. They can go out and have some fun. I say go for it ladies....if you are listening (with your college coaches blessing of course). Does anyone else feel the same way I do?

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
