Early Season Girls to Watch (knoxville)

Yeah we know not all the teams are outstanding, but are there any very talented girls to watch out for?

I don't recall her name, but the varsity pitcher for Karns looks like she's going to be very tough this year. If Alcoa is considered Knoxville area, the I have to go with Brittany Hollifield too.

Brittany Hollifield is a great pitcher to watch. Arika McDonald at Alcoa is a young player (sophomore) that has the potential to be a big hitter. Chelsea O'Conner (great hitter and fielder) and Mandy Brockman (pitcher) at CAK.

 

Surrounding county players to watch would have to include Riley Isham at Kingston ( lefty pitcher and a BIG stick), Lindsey Little at Maryville (great all aroung player) and Cara Sparks at Greenback (catcher and big hitter at a small school).

Catcher at Powell (Craft) works well with Sutphin and Broyles and also a BIG Stick!

Whitney Key - Gibb's (ss) has hands, speed and a good stick. Good all around athlete. Cassidy Skeen - Powell (cf), excellent stick and is lightening fast offensively and defensively. Tori Jones - Powell (fb & tb), also a big stick, has a glove unlike no other-unbelievable acrobats on 1st to earn the out. Erika MacDonald - Alcoa - big stick! Irwin and Hollifield are the pitchers to watch.

Kristen Delapp (great on base precentage, great fielder)

Alicia Mcclintock (great catcher, good stick, great leader)
