a scrim is just that popefan, a scrim, that is all. regular season is all that matters and didnt you guys win like 3-4 games last year? Teams try things out, play different players, so the results dont really matter to much. They only matter to teams who try to make themselves look good like you guys.

i know thats y i said scrimmage cause he was sayin bga beat them 5-0 when it was mba and i was statein that it was a scrimmage i knew i should of put it in caps...and i was just sayin that jp2 beat mba today...yeah we were tryin to make ourselves look good when pope won like 1 or 2 scrimmages...

dont attack the pope, he was just correcting me. i know the mba-hendersonville game was only a scrimmage, but i just liked the idea of mba beating ryan 5-0 after all of ROBs talking. its a shame what hes done for ryans reputation. i mean i personally wouldnt like them even if he never said anything, but i could have respected them. hes slowly taking that respect away from a team that deserves it because theyve been very good year in and year out. i hope its a random student at ryan or another school, but someone associated with ryan needs to spy on every player (and maybe coaches) and see who is on the comp when the posts come up

Hendersonville was better than i thought obviously.... but i talked to their striker, michael bolt, and he said they didnt even have HALF of their starters at the mba scrimmage and besides its a SCRIMMAGE! oh no father ryan! you lost! that game is going to hurt your region standings! OH WAIT! Hendersonville isn't in your region or division! and as for our "iron curtain" it shut a D1 signee going to Coastal Carolina, one of the best D1 schools for soccer, down to only one goal with no superstars on our back line! HEY father ryan didnt yall do that to bryan lowder also? why yes! yes we did! and their wont be any better strikers that we will face this year much less in our region! so as my signature and principle says FATHER RYAN OWNS ALL! IRISH RULE FOREVER!

Coastal Carolina may not be a top 25 Division 1, but they did make the NCAA tournament. They did in fact get knocked out by Clemson in the first round, but Clemson made it to the Final Four. The game against Clemson was a very close one. So you can't say that Coastal Carolina is not good.

I did not say that they were not good. You said that they were one of the "best Div 1 schools for soccer".

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
