chsbaseball41
I'm not sure exactly what the score was of their game. They played each other in the Bobcat Invitational this weekend. Oliver Springs went into the tournament undefeated, but they got beat twice over the weekend back to back. Rockwood layed it to them, then Clinton beat them later that day 3-1. Sweetwater hasn't won a game yet this year. They are very young and unexperienced. They have a little help at the plate, and their pitching is suffering badly. Clinton won the tournament over the weekend. Their wasn't really a championship, but Clinton beat every team in the tournament so they kind of earned that right. Even though all the teams were single A, Clinton was triple A, so they probably should beat every team by a lot. Good overall tournament for a rainy weekend. chsbaseball41
I honestly asked myself the same question last weekend. I didn't know why we were scheduled to play in a tounrnament with a bunch of single A teams? I belive it was because by the time we got around to scheduling games all of the other competitive tournaments were filled up. We had been struggling for a while in our season. We are back on track hopefully with a district win last night over Campbell County. We got Powell on wednesday (another district game) that will test us.
