columbia will probably finish in 2nd but there are not much differences in franklin co , tullahoma or columbia. shelbyvlle is a notch above as their pitching is a notch above. but the district is down a little and shelbyville is not a power house who is going to blow teams out every game. I think the tournament will be wide open as usual.

I agree, any of those 4 teams could win the tournament.

big time win for CC I guess they are improving, gives SCHS a little bit of breathing room. ANy LC/Tullahoma score yet?

Be glad you played the Raiders early on. All you guys need is a split with Columbia.

I hear Walker is now pitching again. Another break for Shelbyville that Walker was out when they played.

Columbia's got FC next week I believe and will be crucial for both, both need a sweep, but we shall see

great game at coffee county tonight. both starting pitchers Estes for Columbia and Greer for the Raiders did a fantastic job. Dotson was one strike away from a save until Vandegriff hits a 2 run walk off. Adcock picks up the win after getting the final three outs in the top of the seventh.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
