after being down in 3-1 in the second half, independence came back to beat Franklin Road 4-3. Goals were scored by Moises Sixtos, Chad Roberts, and I believe two were scored by Jacob Bender (don't quote me on that last part). Please post other USN tournament scores here when the games go final.

What are the times for Friday's games? Are all of them played at the USN athletic fields in W. Nashville?

All Friday games are cancelled due to the tornado warnings.

Saturday's games will be played as normal (10:00 am).

 

Then at 2:30 pm all of the makeup games (from Friday's rainout) will be played.

 

Of course this is if the storms are gone by morning.

Franklin 6 Usn 1

Apparently because of the bad weather each team played 2 games (instead of 3) and there was no final game either.

 

Final stats (I think) in no specific order:

 

USN 1-1-0

FRA 0-2-0

Independence 1-0-1

Franklin 1-0-1

 

Antioch 1-0-0

Pigeon Forge 1-1-0

Brentwood Acad. 1-0-0

CPA 0-2-0

 

So I guess there isn't a USN Tournament Champion this year.

it is a shame the tournament got canceled because i think Independence had a great chance of winning. i would have like to see how it played out

Franklin 6 Usn 1

Not to take anything away from Franklin, I was not even at the game. But this score shocks me. Ryan Usn tied, Ryan/Franklin close game. 6 to 1 is a blow the candles out, party is over blow out. What are the details???

I am surprised that you are surprised. Franklin was missing all of its juniors due to the ACT and brought 6 jv players up to play. Franklin's coach was absent due to a red card in the independence game. Franklin played the varsity players it had in the first half, and at halftime it was 4-0. In the second half, the rebels gave the jv players time, putting its best on the bench, and still outscored usn 2-1. It could have easily been worse. People underestimate the up and down rebels.
