Riverdale Classic - Refs

What was up with the Refs at the Riverdale Classic? At Blackman there were 2 refs that worked the front gym and 2 refs that worked the back gym all day long. One ref said he had been there from 8:00 a.m. and had only had time to eat half of a hotdog. This was at 8:00 p.m. One ref never moved from mid court. The refs were tired and were not calling anything or one sided. One team shot 18 foul shots to the other team's 2. When a player is on the floor going for a ball, get control of the ball and another player jumps on top isn't that a foul? Just not consistant. Surely Coach B can do a better job managing the refs. The teams and parents pay and they deserve better. Riverdal Classic use to be a good tournament!

The refs were overworked, but I will say that though they missed their fare share of calls, at Riverdale they were at least consistent and allowed the players to decide the games, which is what we all want...
