I don't know who's the strongest but the Pride is really good.

The Voyagers have an excellent guard and one other pretty

good player. The Pride is big and fast. We had the honor of

losing to both of them recently, by 40 to the Pride and 7 to

the Voyagers. The Cheatham County team didn't impress

me much if it's the same team that I watched a couple of weeks

ago. I saw a couple of others, but they are not on the list.

Does anyone know anything about the East TN Stars? I know they have a rich tradition, but have not been able to find anything about their 9U team. Also, who lost to Team Pride by 40? I heard they were loaded, but, WOW!

i appreciate the vote of confidence for the kgc 9u and would love to see us finish that high!

 

i do think your forgetting the 9u tn team pride from hooptown

i would have to say they are the favorites

they gave us one of those welcome to aau type games

i havent seen the elite tho so i know nothing about them

the east tn stars has a good squad with a very good post player

 

should be a fun tourny!

As far as Team Pride goes, I have heard that they have only lost to a team out of North Carolina, which lost to the Memphis Lady elite, so it should be a good one! Good luck to everyone. :thumb:

To my knowledge, Team Pride 9's have not played any teams from North Carolina.

What's the name of the team they supposedly lost to?

I was told that they played a team called "The Blaze". It could not have been the 9U team. Either way, I have seen them play and know from first hand experience that they are the team to beat in any tournament that they compete in. They are well coached and well represented. Good luck to the girls!

However, there is not much info out there about this team, unless you can share some. I heard they lost a game in a Memphis super regional in which they only scored 3 points. The SRT in Memphis did not have a 9U age group so if Memphis Elite played in this tournament they played up in the 10U age group.

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
