Liverpool
How are the standings in their Disctrict now? We (Farragut) will be number one with a victory over William Blount. And the rest isnt not over yet. Bearden plays Lenoir City on Tuesday and the winner of that game will be either 2 or 3 along with Maryville. That is also saying that Maryville beats Heritage and South Doyle. Bearden better come out to play against Lenoir City though. We only beat them by one and Maryville lost by one. I would say Bearden is the better team but if they over estimate them im going to say Lenoir City beats them.
Seldon
When the Bulldogs went totally offensive in the second half, it looked like all they tried to do was pound long drives in the direction of #17. They completely by-passed their own midfield, had no possession and became very predictable for the Farragut defense. That's the style they have played since Turner got there but they don't have the studs up top that they have had in the past.
Tin-Man
you guys are right, the usage of outside mids by farragut was very smart and they used it very well, next time Turner should see that and shift some things around, or else he should push his outside defenders up. It was a hard fought battle, but let's face it Bearden is going to have to learn how to defend set plays or not to give them up right outside the box. The team does seem to look up straight for Rico, they shouldn't but they do. Now i know Rico is a really good player, but one player doesn't win games, so they should pass around and use Rico when it counts (a cross or one on one pass). Hinkle did step it up and played real good. It should be interesting the next time they meet. Congrats to Farragut for their victory, and hopefully a rematch
