McCallie vs Father Ryan

This was a closely matched game with not many quality chances on goal. Like most Div II matches the defenses were tough. Ryan scored on two nicely played balls but not what I would say were high percentage shots. McCallie scored after a set piece by Cartter Kerr well struck into the far post netting. I think that this one could have gone either way. It was rainy and slick all night long, it would be interesting to know if the conditions favored one team over the other. Well played game and there could be a rematch at the state tournament.

Tough loss for McCallie. I hope you can get a rematch next month. Coach Meyers and the team look like they are having a fine year. I hope Knox Catholic and McCallie will try to schedule each other again in the future. Their matchups were almost always good games. Good luck on the rest of the season.
