Are you saying that IF Siegel sweeps Warren Co and Blackman sweeps White Co, Blackman will finish 2nd outright?

That may depend on what Oakland does?

Lets try to prove that theorem:

IF [siegel sweeps Warren Co] and

IF [blackman sweeps White Co] AND

IF [Oakland sweeps Lebanon] THEN

Siegel = 8-6

Blackman = 8-6

Oakland = 8-6

Siegel was 1-1 vs Blackman and 2-0 vs Oakland (3-1)

Blackman was 1-1 vs Siegel and 0-2 vs Oakland (1-3)

Oakland was 2-0 vs Blackman and 0-2 vs Siegel (2-2)

Siegel second, Oakland 3rd and Blackman 4th

EndIF

BUT

IF [siegel sweeps Warren Co] and

IF [blackman sweeps White Co] AND

IF [Oakland splits with Lebanon] THEN

Siegel = 8-6

Blackman = 8-6

Oakland = 7-7

Lebanon = 6-8

Warren Co = 6-8

they split

So the next tie-breaker is record against district, top to bottom

They were both swept by Riverdale

Siegel swept Oakland and Blackman was swept by Oakland so

Siegel second, Blackman third and Oakland fourth

EndIF

Keep in mind this is just a couple of the many ways this 2006 season could end...

OK, now it's a final. Coty Grissom nailed down the save, fanning Medlock and getting Tobitt to line out to 2nd after hitting a guy after two straight errors and loading the bases.

So here are my questions:

With Blackman, Oakland and Warren all winning on Monday, am I correct that if all three win again on Tuesday, Warren gets 2nd based on its sweep of Oakland and Oakland's sweep of Blackman?

I'm pretty sure of the following. Correct me if I'm wrong:

* If Warren and Oakland win and Blackman loses, Warren gets 2nd based on its Oakland sweep.

* If Oakland and Blackman win and Warren loses, Oakland takes 2nd based on its Blackman sweep.

* If Warren and Blackman win and Oakland loses, Warren gets 2nd based on Oakland's sweep of Blackman.

* If either wins and the other two lose, the winner is 2nd based on record.

Does that make sense? Help me out, David!

Why is Siegel not in the mix?
