It is very unlikely that one run would have won this game. If you as good as you think you are you will just have to wait one more day for the win.

That ball was hit hard by their number three hitter. Faust threw for Siegel. It looked like it was an off day for the Siegel bats. Tomorrow will be a different story. We'll see who both teams throw. My bet is Siegel will stick with Faust, but you never know.

 

It's funny though. Underhill hit his fourth homerun of the season. But he only has 3 homeruns in the books. That would make me angry haha.

that was one of the hardest hit balls i've seen this season. i was talking with someone earlier about how loud it was off the bat, like an explosion. he got a good hold of it.

yeah I hung out with a friend of mine while the monsoon hit, and among many things, we talked about the explosion of that bat. We also talked about the explosion of lightning that postponed the game. WoW talk about a light show.

The on-field and in-stands reaction when that first lightning bolt hit was classic! I saw Underhill's dad with a video camera before the game, I hope he got Jordan's homer (too bad it didn't count), but I REALLY hope he got the "duck-and-cover" in the top of the third! I'd love to see that.

And alas, my first-ever stint as the Pioneers' public address announcer got cut short. Regular press box crew will be back in action Wednesday night, and anyone in McMinnville that can't come out to the game can tune in to 1230-WAKI AM or check out Channel 1 if you have BLTV.
