Giles Co. scored 1 run in the bottom of the 2nd as Clint King doubled down the LF line and scored on a single to RF by Darin Holt.

 

Giles Co's final run came in the bottom of the 5th as Sam Edgemon hit a HR to RC.

 

Page threatened in the top of the 2nd as Lucas Wilmore led off with a single, but was thrown out trying to steal 2nd as it appeared Giles knew he was going and threw a pitch out. Jeff Hughes doubled with 2 outs, but was stranded. Page's other hit came in the 4th as Cory Herald singled up the middle, but also was stranded.

 

It was a pitcher's duel that ended in Giles favor. Daniel Haley only threw 69 pitches and worked very quickly. He struck out all three Page batters in the top of the 7th.

 

Page ends their season with an overall record of 15-19. Giles moves on to face Loretto in Loretto on Monday night at 7:00.
