Did Rutledge and Gibbs play in the Substate last year?

Yes they did...it was postponed until Saturday last year because of rain...never hurts the Lady Eagles to have all that tradition and homefield advantage, but Rutledge is a year more experienced with only two seniors gone from last season's team.

 

It'll be interesting I'm sure...wish I could be there to see it.

Its not all about the Seniors !! Gibbs have definitation they have some senior but they have the desire...They believe in one another and if that batter hits to rt field or left or center, that catcher and that pitcher are for sure it will be caught, for Gibbs its a team thing. I think one of your seniors was one of a very few that hit the pitcher from last year is that right?

 

 

Are saying Rutledge has more Seniors this year so next year they will not be as strong.

 

Have you seen them play this year? They have stayed strong in clutch situations even when they have gotten beat they seem to say its a team disappointment and they work on it as a team improvement

 

Gibbs beat Rutledge last year was it 8-? to that affect I think they won by 6 or seven runs I will have to get my paper out.

 

But I am pretty sure Gibbs only has 3 seniors and all the rest are experienced players.. If Gibbs gets beat it will be a learning experience for everyone to improve on next year

 

By looking at Prep-xtra it looks like Rutledge has not played alot this year. Does Rutledge do pre-season tournaments?

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
