Anyone have any knowlege of good hitting instructors in the mid state area? I have recommendations for Eric Brewer and Ronnie Osborne. Anyone know them? Your input is appreciated very much. Thanks.

Brennen King in the boro area is very good i do not know of the guys you mentioned

Ask the kids from Franklin and Ravenwood about Eric Brewer....good instructor, patient with kids.

Brian Howard at wilson central is good. He's famous for the sumo squat thrust he picked up from somewhere down in the columbia area.

he is legit, he has transformed the high school swing into a beautiful thing. To describe I would call it a thrust squat load and a squished bug on the front leg, then it all comes together by chopping wood and shaking a hand on the backside.

My son has taken lessons from Eric Brewer since he was about 9 years old. He is a senior at Forrest High School and started for Ravenwood for three years before moving. Both teams are in the state tournament and have many kids who have taken lessons from Eric on them. My son led the Forrest team this year with a .526 average and was on of the top hitters on the Ravenwood team the past three years. He just recently signed with Freed-Hardeman University to play college ball. Eric is not a miracle worker but if your child exhibits some talent, he will help him get the most out of his abilities!
