Coaching position open

I have resigned from coaching the boy's team with Warren County and that position is now open and posted for interested parties. I would personally like to see someone with soccer experience get that position rather than the school system pick out someone simply because they are a teacher but do not have any soccer knowledge or experience. The school system has openings in several different certification areas for teachers. If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested in teaching with the Warren County School System and coaching the boy's, then they should contact Roy Pierce with the Warren County School System.

Thanks,

Coach Hamilton

ps: Yes, I am still coaching the girls this Fall.

Good Morning, Coach.

I think a couple of this year's graduating seniors at Maryville College were obtaining their teaching credentials with the idea of teaching and coaching in high school and I think several are from your general area. I have no idea where they all are now, but a call to Coach Pepe Fernandez at the school might lead to a prospect or two. His number is 865-981-8284.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
