I thought you couldn't sub on a corner.....not sure though??

High school rules allow for subs on corners just like throw ins....if it's your corner, you can sub, your opponent can also sub if you are subbing. The opponent cannot sub on the other team's corner unless that team is also subbing.

 

The clock should not stop for a sub under high school rules. A lot of fishy stuff went on in this game. I watched them stop the clock for a goal kick in the last 30 seconds of the second OT. There was no reason or rule for that. As a TSSAA and USSF ref I'm disappointed to see anything less than the NFHS rules followed strictly...after all this is the marquee event of the state. No official should alter any rules for any reason not allowed in the rule book.

i was dissapointed in bearden's performance but it doesnt matter, then got passed them and are on to thje state finals which i would love to be in their position

 

hendersonville looked bad at the very beginning of the game vs. farragut b/c of a few mistakes by moore but they quickly picked it up and never looked back..they are my favorite in this one and i see TJ shutting the bearden attack down and bolt putting 1 or 2 away in a hendersonville win..

 

2-0 h-ville!!..middle tn wins the title 2 years in a row!!!
