beardendoggy
I'll give it to hendersonville that they did dominate the first half, but the second half was very different. Bearden clearly had the ball longer then hendersonville. And Bearden had 3 very very close goals. One being the header by Carter that just missed the goal. So to say Hendersonville dominated the game is just stupid.
manU721
i just think that if hhs played bhs again, their would be a different outcome. thats the case for every single soccer game ever played.
Tin-Man
man soccer is a funny game isnt it? hendersonville dominated the game and had atleast 80-85% of the possesion. i am not affiliated with either team but it seems to me that hendersonville deserved it more. bearden had one good shot in the game that hit the crossbar. they packed it in the middle the whole game. congrats to both teams in good game, i just think that if hhs played bhs again, their would be a different outcome. state champion=bearden high school congradulations i believe you were watching a different game then i did because over all the possession was about even, and both teams had their opportunities and the ref definitely missed a pk call for Hendersonville because the Bearden defender fouled one of Hville's forwards badly in the first minutes of the game. Both teams played with great intensity i don't think one team deserved it more in this game.

I would have to say that Hendersonville had a definate advantage on possession, but that is because that is their style of play. Bearden's style is to simply get it to their forwards and try to get through balls and/or breakaways.

Bearden too plays it outside (but in long ball form) to Tom who plays it in. I guess it would look like H'ville had more possession because it takes them longer to play it in. In the second half H'ville played alot faster. Bearden had more possessions just at shorter lengths each time because they are a long ball team. i hope i got my point across and didn't ramble too much. My point is because Hendersonville held the ball longer, they technically had possession longer, whereas Bearden had short spurts of possession. (i am assuming that you meant this as my high school years, i see no other explanation) We'll just have to agree to disagree, cause I didn't see enough of Bearden's short spurts to even out possession. But they did win the game, which is MUCH more important.
