This particular scrimmage served as a great learning tool for last year's Region 4-3A champions. They looked flat if everyone remembers correctly but afterwards they beat Lipscomb in their second game of the season and went on to win a region title with wins over the likes of Marshall Co., Pearl-Cohn, and White House.

Unfortunately it was another rainy evening but the Cats still played fairly well. Number 1s vs 1s had Greenbrier up 7 to 0 at the half. The 2nd half was 2nds and JVs. Greenbrier's D held Glencliff to very little positive yardage and virtually no first downs. Greenbrier lost a couple of fumbles but still managed to put together one long drive to take the 7 - 0 lead. Greenbrier's offense would get one or two good solid gains and then give up a sack. Still, not a bad night overall.
