Upon further review, the the schedule strength is crazy, JCM 6th ranked schedule, 6th ranked strength. Henry county 24th in strength and 21st in schedule.

Now lets look at uncommon opponents, first for JCM 2-0 germantown, 1-2 Haywood(impressive victory over mannassas), 0-2 Trezvant, 1-2 Henry county (lost to two strong 5a teams), 0-3 Raleigh Egypt. Aside from Germantown and Henry county, there is just not much there. 4-9 and with a schedule weakness of Henry county, schedule strenth should be hurt.

Now for Henry county, 3-0 Ridgeway, 2-0 Dickson county ( strong victory over Brentwood Friday night) , 2-0 Kenwood, 0-2 Liberty, and 1-1 JCM ( one loss coming from Germantown) That is a grand total of 8-3 with JCM beign considerably stronger than HC in strength, that should boost Henry conty's schedule strength.

It is obvious to me that Henry county plays a much tougher schedule outside of the region than JCM, what is wrong with schedule strength.

None of this will matter my "Rambling Unprophetic Wonderless" friend...because on October 13 the HC schedule will toughen dramatically...and they will fold under the pressure of the RELENTLESS Cougar defense...the region title will belong to JCM and you can still ramble on about "strength of schedule"!!!!! The YANKER has spoken!!!!!!

Indeed, you have spoken, and I have seent he demise of the cougars begin, it has started, but simply will not be seen by most until the Henry county game, now JCM has the tough part of their schedule with Haywood, Munford, Northside, Trezvant, with one admirable opponent before the Henry county game and t hat being Southside.

The Demise has began and the Cougars will be 2nd in the Region and a change will need to be made to get this corrected. Oh hopeful one, enjoy the next 5 weeks because after Friday the 13th your enjoyment will be over.

I would like to respond to your post but unfortunately...it is totally incoherent and therefore cannot be answered. However, you can be certain that the YANKER already knows the score of the JCM-HC game that is six weeks away and the YANKER is POSITIVE that you will not like it!!!!!

Too early to worry about yet.

The YANKER agrees...and the YANKER is not a bit worried!!!!! Your "Unprophetic One" started the thread...he is worried and obsessed with what he CANNOT have...a victory over JCM and a region title!!!! You all better worry about Kenwood and other teams that you MIGHT be able to beat...JCM is NOT one of them!!!!!

No worries here, JCM has started their demise, and the Yanker may be at the Helm of the decline. How loyal will he be, will he jump off the wagon or just blame the officials? that is the only question that needs an answer.

I will blame nothing on officials or "WRISTBANDS" my Unprophetic one!!!

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
