Get Well Soon, Buc's Taylor Blount!

Don't have all of the details, but inside linebacker Taylor Blount, SR. #31 ruptured his spleen during the first half of the Boyd/Marion Co. game (all the Bucs needed was another injury!) I have heard that the removal surgery was successful.

Taylor is a great kid, a tenacious player and a good student. Quiet demeanor, good manners and a hard worker make him a favorite around BBS.

Reports are that a teammate's foot got him in the side during a gang tackle. I know that the Bucs "D" sure missed him in the second half!

Congrats, TB, you just joined the coaching staff!!

I saw him being attended to on the side line and again outside the field house. I didn't realize that it was this serious.

He came into the emergency room the same time Chris Watson from Bledsoe was in there and they told us it was his kidney's, but I'm glad the surgery was a success and I hope he feels better soon....
