After reading that from the above poster, Cannon is appearing to be cocky. Very. Tomorrow's game is more like a personal war then a friendly football match. All I can say is, let the best team win. If DeKalb loses tomorrow's game, I see their season over. Don't let the fans down DeKalb, this is "the" game for you. And importantly, don't let yourself down. I'm sure both teams will have high spirits and much animosity built up. Good luck. Don't do anything obtuse either. Keep your cool and play football.

THey put a towel up on the flag pole with a lion on it had sign around the school with last year scores and they roped off the school with that police tape stuff and they forked there field

Do you honestly think some Cannon Co. kids drove from Woodbury to give DeKalb players motivation? Nope, some Smithville natives are trying to light a fire in the Tigers.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
