The coaching staff at Seymour has always been competitive. Probably one of the most consistent staffs and teams over the pat 25 years. With the opening of Pigeon Forge every team in Sevier Co has seen a drop. You can only spread the athletes so thin before it takes a toll on your wins and losses.

 

 

Hard to argue with Householder. He has Seymour at the top or near the top of the region every year. I believe he also has at least one semifinal appearance and maybe two.

As far as middle schools go, you also have a lot of kids that transfer and never make to the high school and kids that may transfer in to other high schools that make a difference.

Good call qbsdad. I hate to see all the anemosity between these teams, wait no I don't. Seymour let their emotions get the better of them. Especially after Gorman absolutely laid out that kid on a block. I guess we'll let the scoreboard do the talking.
