Siegel Middle wins District Tournament

Tonight, the semi and final matches were played at Christiana MS for the District that covers Rutherford county. Christiana, Blackman, Rock Springs and Siegel Middle schools played some very good matches to determine the winner. In the Semi finals, Siegel beat Rock Springs and Christiana beat Blackman. Blackman, of course, feeds Blackman high School Rock Springs feeds Symrna and Lavergne, Christiana feeds Riverdale and Siegel feeds Siegel High school. In the finals, Siegel Middle School beat Christiana in a very close match 25-23 and 25-20. The past two years, the eighth graders on the Siegel Team have had a District Record of 30-2. In addition to this district Record, they have also won tournaments in those two years also.

Congrats to these players and their coaches.
