Big Country
Yes, you are. That is incorrect KS. The Tigers have to win both to be in for sure. If they win one of their games (and both SH & Cheatham won out) the Tigers would be the odd team out in a three-way tiebreaker scenario. They'll lose any three-way scenario because they have NO NON-REGION WINS!!!! Here's how the tiebreakers play out right now: Marshall: beat SH & CW; lost to Page & Cheatham (2-2 vs other four teams) Creek Wood: beat Page; lost to Marshall Spring Hill: beat Cheatham; lost to Marshall Cheatham: beat Marshall; lost to Spring Hill Page: beat Marshall; lost to Creek Wood Except for Marshall Co. the other four teams still have two games to go against the teams they are in the hunt against. Here's how that schedule falls: Week Eight: Creek Wood vs Cheatham Co. Week Nine: Spring Hill vs Page Week Ten: Page vs Cheatham Co. & Spring Hill vs Creek Wood Hopefully this will help you all out as far as the playoff race is concerned

Big Country
Thanks, Big Country Another question..........in your opinion will Coach J be back? Yes he will, UNLESS he is welcomed back to coach in Metro. The Tigers have had their share of injuries this year and have done a good job of staying in contention. Gower, O'Neal, & Hightower have all been out or hurting for the majority of the year. Outside of Lipscomb & Giles I must say that this is a region that has been "down" this year for many reasons. That's why there are now five teams battling it out for two playoff spots with three weeks to go.
KSherburn24
Oh, sorry about that. Thanks for clearing it up, Big Country.
bulldog69
Another week of shaking up things in the region. I still don't get Cheatham losing this past week after such a killer first half. Did they have some people get hurt or did Spring Hill just make adjustments? The coming week will shed a little more light.....and week 10 still decides the final spots. Big Country, you should get your charts ready for some tiebreakers. This year will probably be the toughest. I am not picking spots 3 and 4....too unpredictable. Big Country
Another week of shaking up things in the region. The coming week will shed a little more light.....and week 10 still decides the final spots. Big Country, you should get your charts ready for some tiebreakers. This year will probably be the toughest. I am not picking spots 3 and 4....too unpredictable. I'm already one step ahead of you and will be giving tiebreakers and region standings from week-to-week. After next week I'll also post how each team can clinch a possible playoff spot. As for this past week's game I'll just say that Spring Hill made the plays in the end needed to win the game and the Cubs did not. Cheatham turned the football over four times in the second half and that gave the Raiders their opportunities. Give Spring Hill's players and coaches all of the credit in the world because they capitalized when they needed to do so. #9 Magwan Smith & #43 Ned McCaster really hurt the Cubs in the end and Spring Hill won the game. They have two weeks to prepare for Page and now as a Cheatham fan I will have to root for Page to step up and win that game. The Cubs will not hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over Spring Hill. In a three-way scenario???? Who knows at this point in time????? Edited October 8, 2006 by Big Country
