Region 2 AAA

 

Let me first say hats off to the War Daddy's from Huntsville for the big win Friday Night against the defending State Champs. With this win Scott is now a playoff contender for the first time in several years.

 

The first three are basically wrapped up, unless Fulton and/or Catholic go on a loosing streek, so lets cut to the chase at the 4th spot

 

1) Fulton or Catholic, who ever wins the match up

2) As above

3) If Austin East Beats Kingston their in at 3rd (Which is likely)

 

Scenario #1

 

4) Scott defeats 2 of the three remaining teams in their region. One win must include Kingston and Kingston must lose one more region matchup (Which is likely)

Scott would finish with a region record of 3-3

Kingston would also finish with a region record of 3-3

Scott gets in with the head to head win...

 

Scenario #2

 

4) Here is where it gets tricky... Scott Must Beat Kingston and Kingston lose to AE & Catholic ( These two losses are likely). If Scott losses to A-C and Catholic their still in with the head to head win over Kingston, with both teams with a region record of 2-4. This scenario only works if Livingston can defeat A-C). If AC wins against Livingston and Scott. This being the case Kingston, Scott and A-C are tied having a region record of 2-4

 

Scenario #3

 

4) Here is where it gets really tricky taking into consideration scenario #2, but with Kingston defeating Austin East. This would most likely put Scott, A-E, and Kingston in a three way tie for 3rd and 4th. Throw in the fact that A-C might defeat Livingston and Scott then it's a real mess, with 4 teams knotted up looking at 2 spots.

 

 

Bottom line is after Friday the 13th we'll know how this region is looking for the playoffs. For Scott the most likely thing to do is win 2 more region games and let the expected wins come from the A-E v Kingston and Catholic v Kingston games.

 

Somebody add some input to these scenario's that i'm leaving out...
