fieldgoal1
Trenton Peabody did not play their best game last night, probably their worst. There is a reason Peabody did not have a good game last night. The Westview defense shut down the run, rushed the passer, and made tackles. Routine or not, its hard to do anything against a good defense. Give credit where it is due.
HomeyTheClown
Trenton Peabody did not play their best game last night, probably their worst. I think being on fall break for two weeks has had a lot to do with how our guys have played the past 2 games. Yes, they've had practice, but they are out of their normal routine. No getting up and getting to school, working your brain, eating right, etc. What are some of your thoughts about that? Especially coaches and players. I will agree with you on this post.by taking the momentum out and being on break had some to do with it, they were not as focused as what they needed to be i know peabody has a good team.and i was shocked to hear the upset by the way hows pooh bear doing when you see him tell we are thinking of him good luck for the rest of the season and injury free... I dont agree with this post because westview is in the middle of their fall break too.I do agree that this does throw teams for a loop though.I dont think that the schools should have games scheduled on breaks.Practices are up too the coaches but bye weeks should be used on these dates.Congrates to westview for a good win and good luck next week. I'll agree it dose throw your routine off...but with practice and everything and come friday night it should all be ready and kicking on all cylinders...i also think the kids should prolly be rested up better than if they weren't on fall break...eating right and sleeping right has nothing to do with being in school or not...if your disiplined enough you'll eat right and hit that bed at night...but i'll agree with throwin the routine for a loop

I'm shocked to hear you refer to this win as an "upset". On average, Westview has given up one touchdown per game this year. That last fourth quarter drive included a couple of huge 7+ yard third down conversions and ate up the clock. No doubt, Peabody is a good team and loaded with great athletes, but Westview just seems to get the job done. Good luck to both teams next week. wtspfan
Westview's defense might be the best I've seen since the 97 Union City D week 10 in Milan should be a great game
peabodymom
Oh, don't misunderstand..........I'm not saying that being on break is the reason we lost. I AM saying that it makes a difference in the way high school atheletes perform when they are not in their normal routine.
