  1. Geez. GREAT SEASON MILAN!! Can't wait to see what ya bring next year. God bless!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  2. This should help ... http://www.abcteach.com/directory/reading_comprehension/ I don't whine. Cheese costs too much. Like I said, Don't water-down what happened on that field last night because the results weren't what most(either Milan or Westview) thought they should be. Wonderfully fought game. Both teams worked hard last night. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I will be praying for Milan this week. Jesus loves you.
  3. And it wasn't the weather that affected Milan. It was Westview that affected Milan. I been around high school football for 17 years and last night I saw Westview play a COMPLETE game. The turnovers were not "give me" turnovers. They were earned take-a-ways. And Hyuntae could have made a 48 yarder. I have faith in him. Don't water-down what happened on that field last night because the results weren't what most thought they should be. Wonderfully fought game. Both teams worked hard last night. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. I watched the game again. Those two Refs had 88% of the flags in the game. They missed a lot of calls they should have made and saw calls that weren't there on other plays. They did get 4 right that I saw. Even the announcers for Channel 11 were questioning their calls. But on that note, we only have to play the 11 from the other team ... and tackle on Defense. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> I am going to shut up now. I ain't been on here much all year and probably will try not to get on here any more this year. God bless, GCPioneer. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> That happened a couple years ago at a McKenzie game. QB for the team playing McKenzie faked a hand off to the running back who was tackled ... Refs blew it dead and the ball was 40 yards away ... "repeat down ..." Yeah. Coach Ward taking lessons lol /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  5. I have been to a few games this year. Last nights game was for the most part ... there were only two Refs calling 76% of the penalties last night. The Ref you are referring to was one of them. It's not the Ref's fault though. Refs are out there to make the calls that they see. Last night, apparently, there were players making poor decisions just in those certain parts of the field. The teams have to ignore the Refs and play their game better. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Well, as I remember the qb last night was hit in his chest a great majority of the time. I will check when I watch the replay on Channel 11 tonight.
  6. Personally, I think the qb is part of the field of play. If he does not want to get hit, then he should sit the bench. There are 11 people on offense and 11 on defense, sometimes depending on if the Refs are playing as well ... so statistically the qb has to get hit sometimes. 1 step or 4 steps ... he is on the field and has to take some hits. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  7. Not sure on the rule, but the kid that kept tackling the qb to the ground late in the game was Freshman Colton Nanney. I watched all of those and I can tell you that the Ref in the white hat watched each one cause I was wondering if he was going to throw a flag. I would also be very upset if I were that qb. Nobody picked up those guys that were pounding him in the padding of 3 inch grass. A qb unprotected is a qb that will not be playing very long. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  8. MILAN WILL WIN THEIR GAME. (sorry, i had to enter their name in this thread, it is in all the others on this subforum). Humboldt has a chance, they just REALLY have to come together as a team to function correctly. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  9. Nice use of emoticons. But if you are going to take them out to eat, you might want to bring a bigger vehicle and a credit card. Milan has a ferocious appetite.
  10. Didn't Westview drop Huntingdon to add Henry County? Seems to me to be a sign of respect. Westview could have easily paid a Memphis team to come up and play in Martin for an easy Homecoming win. JV threads ... big kids' talk or grown folks' talk. It's like this huge puzzle that needs to be put together.
  11. Not hardly. They'd have to play UTM to do that.
  12. Yeah. That 5 minutes would be the only thing that would keep you sane. Seriously. I was thinking more along the lines of the 0 - 50 years. Coach Dyer is doing some good things and trying real hard over there, but from what I hear some of them boys on the team aren't. They possibly should spend more time studying and less time at the parties. They might get something accomplished. You can't serve two masters. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  13. You know, if it were legal, we COULD lock GCPioneer in a room and make him watch Gibson County Films continously for days on end. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  14. I have no doubts that USJ will continue to play a few of the teams that play in 1A and 2A if they have that option. I would be be remiss if I didn't defend GCPioneer this one time. I have seen him get several things right over the last few years. That said, there weren't many. Do not get a swollen head on me GC, this is out of love for free speech and respect for the sound of an expressive mind. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  15. Hyuntae Kim - Westview. Great Leg. Great heart. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. Crystal ball needs dusting. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  17. "Should have." Really? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Lake County beat a 2A Peabody team right?

  20. FCA Competitor's Creed I am a Christian first and last. I am created in the likeness of God Almighty to bring Him glory. I am a member of Team Jesus Christ. I wear the colors of the cross. I am a Competitor now and forever. I am made to strive, to strain, to stretch and to succeed in the arena of competition. I am a Christian Competitor and as such, I face my challenger with the face of Christ. I do not trust in myself. I do not boast in my abilities or believe in my own strength. I rely solely on the power of God. I compete for the pleasure of my Heavenly Father, the honor of Christ and the reputation of the Holy Spirit. My attitude on and off the field is above reproach - my conduct beyond criticism. Whether I am preparing, practicing or playing; I submit to God's authority and those He has put over me. I respect my coaches, officials, teammates and competitors out of respect for the Lord. My body is the temple of Jesus Christ. I protect it from within and without. Nothing enters my body that does not honor the Living God. My sweat is an offering to my Master. My soreness is a sacrifice to my Savior. I give my all - all of the time. I do not give up. I do not give in. I do not give out. I am the Lord??™s warrior - a competitor by conviction and a disciple of determination. I am confident beyond reason because my confidence lies in Christ. The results of my efforts must result in His glory. LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN. LET THE GLORY BE GOD'S.
  21. BulldawgDynasty. Keep up the good work. I will continue to pray for the Milan team this week. Also, thank you for a great season on Coacht. I have enjoyed your posts. God bless. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  23. It is sad that Huntington could not hack it in our Region, but can in a lesser region. I am going to go with Milan on this one .... 17 - 7. Should be a heck of a game. Might have to come watch this one.
