You were right; I was wrong. Congratulations to Bolivar.

It's mighty big of you to say that...I respect that. Thanks. This match up has turned into good riverly between these two teams. I haven't seen the kind of hitting I saw last night in a long time. Both teams were really going at it. There were still plenty of mistakes from both sides that will hurt you when you're playing high caliber teams. Both teams have improved a lot from last year, but still a ways to go.

I wasn't planning on responding on this thread until you came on and made such an idiotic post. What game were you at? Fayette Ware was holding Bolivar blitzers all night long and got away with most of them. Give me a break. Even if Bolivar would have lost, I would not have gotten on here and blamed the refs. You're that type of fan----When you win, your team is the greatest, but when you lose it's always the referees' fault. Despite the close score, I feel that Bolivar overwhelmingly outplayed Fayette-Ware. They had no answer for Cordell Tucker. He wore the defense out (many of which are also offensive players) all night and made the ones that tried to tackle him up high pay. Fayette did have a few good drives, but they did not have the consistency all night that Bolivar had. Had Bolivar went for the easy first down with about 5:00 mins left instead of the questionable pitch on the three yard line, then the score probably would have been 23-8! :thumb:

Cordell Tucker may be the most underappreciated RB in west TN. He is very good. The FW players really didn't want to tackle him last night. I like FW's football program and I admire what Coach Thompson has done over there. However, I think we may be building a nice program over here, too.

I know there's one player from FW who doesn't want to try to tackle him anymore!

Wah, wah...the refs have it in for FW. Come on. Bolivar has improved and has surprised some people that's all. I don't know how far they'll go but no one expected them to be in the hunt did they?

who might that be if you know so much the player that got hurt was th qb if thats what your talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!

No...not the QB. I hate to see any player get hurt. Especially with what happened to him. I'm talking about the player who got ran over by Cordell like a limp rag doll. The guy who needs to learn how to tackle, especially someone who outweights you by 100 pounds. You're #1inthegame...I bet you know who it is. But, to give him credit, he did get up without injury. He didn't make the tackle...but he did get up.

Learn how to spell before you get on here trying to call everyone out. So are you trying to say that Bolivar "wants" to go far in the playoffs or they "won't" go far in the playoffs. Moron!

After reading his post, you did have a point, but please refrain from calling names. I`d much rather figure out the mispellings than to read folks calling others morons. Besides it`s against the board rules to call other posters names. There is nothing there though that says mispelled words aren`t allowed.

Thanks VG

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
