If I read Eurosport correctly:

GPS 1-0-1

Webb 0-0-1

Baylor 0-1-0

Do they play a regional?

updated info (some of which wasn't posted on Eurosport)

Div 2 results Chattanooga/Knoxville

Baylor 2 Webb 0

GPS 1 Baylor 0

Webb 0 GPS 0

GPS 1-0-1

Baylor 1-1-0

Webb 0-1-1

Webb plays at Baylor Oct 18th (after that I don't know)

2 out of 3 go from the east, 3 out of 11 from the middle, and 3 out of 10 from the west.

The current Eurosport rankings for the top 8 include 1 team from the west, 4 teams from the middle, and 3 teams from the east. If they made it a top 10, I think that the other 2 teams would be from the middle region.

ECS (West Region) should be in the top 8. After that there is no deserving team from the West, but they still get a third in the state tournament, probably Hutchison.

If I had to guess:

East:

GPS (already in) & Baylor

Middle:

BA, BGA, Father Ryan

West:

St Agnes, ECS, Hutchison

Webb from the East, and JPII and Harpeth Hall from the middle are all better than Hutchison (or whoever the 3 from the middle ends up being), but the breakdown is 3 from the west, 3 from the middle, and 2 from the east.

What a shame that some of the top teams in the state won't even make it to state since they are from the same area.

That is probably true every year. There are always stronger districts or regions where more that 2 should advance, but can't, while in other regions or district, weak teams advance beacause of even weaker competition.

    • No replacing 3 all state players. Especially Dozier. He would save Rang when he threw it too much.  heard the coach who won y’all the first Clinton game, by giving it to Dozier enough, left for Red pastures.
