If you are going to go to the college level then the best ever to set foot in this state is none other than General Robert Neyland. His winning percentage was better than Bear's ever thought of being plus Bear Bryant was 0-5-2 against Neyland !!! In fact, when Neyland retired in the early 50's it was Bear who said "Thank God the 'ole man is retiring". I guess he said this because he was tired of getting his butt whipped by the General !!!
