so? east lit won region duals last year. and have an amazing team this year.

at hfa we're glad to have wrestlers who actually place in tournaments and to win a match.

you'd have a bit of a different perspective coming from a school where people don't even know we have a wrestling team and in the yearbook they said we were a non-school sponsered sport.

we're happy to be mediocre.

Region 7 did pretty good this past weekend.

Congrads to Glencliff and Antioch for their 3rd & 4th place finish at the Harpeth Inv. Good job to Hume Fogg and MLk at Harpeth.

Congrads to Hunters Lane for their 3rd place finish at the Sycamore Tourney.

Congrads to East Lit for their 7th place finish at the highly competitive Black Horse Inv.

It is early in the season and every team is working to get better, but I must say that this region is stronger this year. Next year will be stronger because just about every team is young. Good job!

The McGavock Inv should be interesting.

congrads to Taylor Fortune on his upset win over brandon Vanderloop to win the McGavock tourney. Vanderloop is an incredible wrestler and any win over him is an accomplishment

I was able to talk to Taylor before the Overton MLK match the first week of the season .and he seemed to be very focused and dedicated this year .keep it up Taylor you have mine and Colt's backing .Until you wrestle Overton again <_<

Congrats to region 7 teams from this past weekend. Antioch wins Beech Inv, with Glencliff 2nd, Hunters Lane 4th, and McGavock 5th. East Literature and MLK were 2nd and 3rd, respectively, at the Lookout Valley Inv. Region looking much stronger this year. Its about time for the real season to begin, keep it up guys.

Who is the coach at HL this year. I hope it is someone who will teach you some wrestling. The wrestlers at HL deserve better.

Coach Clay is the new head coach, and Coach Grinderstaff is the assistant. They are really energetic and dedicated, much better than before. We have over 40 wrestlers, home matches, and excitement! We go to tournaments almost every weekend, work harder, and have somebody in every weight class now. Losing Big Corey was tough, but Quinton is getting better for somebody that's never wrestled before. He's a 22o pound heavyweight.
