No Delks, remember a girl that played for Milan in the 80's and went on to be ayn all-american at Alabama and then played pro ball in Itlay, etc. before the WNBA , named Carol Smith. She lived in Col. and her old coach looked her up and she is living and working in Milan and her 2 - 6'3" daughters play for NSide.

You need to get your facts straight before you go posting. Carol has been staying with her Mother some who is ill. They have a house in the North Side district that they have had for many years. She does work in Milan, but I don't think there is a TSSAA law that says where a Parent has to work. The twins who are by the way only 6'0" tall, have gone to school their entire lives in Jackson and completed middle school at North East which is North Side's feeder school. They moved to Colorado their freshmen year for Carol to help her mother. Her mother decided to move back home to Milan so therefore Carol and the girils did. Coach Lowery didn't know anything about them moving back until the guidance counselor told him he had two girls transferring in. Coach Lowery has been in this business for many years and is a fair, honest coach. Don't go accusing a good man of doing years of honest work. He just happens to know the game.

Well this year you might be right. Ezell has had a few players quit and in case you havent noticed lipscomb did not graduate any of their best players. Only lost a point guard, and the young lady who played JV and some varsity will more than pick up her slack. Ezell may make it to sub-state, but the road to the final 8 goes through Lipscomb. In fact you heard it here first...they are probably the best team in AA. (Lipscomb) Front runner for state champ, should go undefeated.

Ezell 48 Lipscomb 46 OT :)

IGreat game Ezell.... Coaching, coaching, coaching. Ezell completely killed Lipscomb's inside game, and Lipscomb normally has a strong outside game if required... not this time. Lipscomb did not look like the same team in this game. Ezell looked five players solid. It will be intersting to see how this district (and region) progresses. Franklin Road Academy, David Lipscomb, and Ezell bring their 'A games' when playing each other. I would bet that one of these teams will make it to the final four at state. Mind you, I'd prefer none get hype and a bull's eye on their back. Let them play it out, and slip in under the radar.
