Yeah, Im right there with yall..

Not too far away from season opener anymore. I can't wait for the games to begin, it'll be great.

Pretty much all the teams in Cheatham County should make alot of noise, again, this season. I think this is where the Rebels will struggle most in D-play. The Indians have an elite club that should repeat, they'll be all over the place. War Eagles will definitely fight right there with ya, gonna keep your hands full. As for the Cubs, well their team is no knock-off, look for a more aggressive matchup each time you play them.

Yeh i agree pretty much all the teams from cheatham are stacked this year but thats not to say they cant be beat as good as sycamore was last year they still got upset. So we should be in for an intersting season. Stewart county should be a pretty well rounded team they got some talented seniors and also some younger guys that can step it up and play pretty well too.

You may have just said the wrong thing HHSnumber1fan did play basketball for the team when he was a freshman just to let you know and he is probably a whole lot bigger than you so watch who you are talking about. Most people from Stewart Co. on here are allies of ours on here i would really hate for a freshman (class of 2010 which is in your name thats why people think your a freshman) to ruin that

Hey man the freshy dont know wuts up this is gonna be a fun year were a good team but have to finish and not always rely on jake west i cant wait til the 17th when we start basketball and the rowdy rebs can have some fun again

well....if rocky is gone....theyr hopes are gone....they will be in the same boat as waverly this year...."rebuilding"...what an awful word, i dont like these seasons but jus wait a cuple years...waverly's freshmen from lakeview went and lost only 1 game the whole season and won the state championship in junior high....so expect big time in a couple years from waverly!!

What are you talking about? What is Waverly's freshmen from Lakeview? The Harpeth boys won the junior high state tournament last season while drilling Waverly on 4 different occasions. This Harpeth class of freshmen will definitely make some noise as a couple will contribute on varsity this year.

Spittin the Truth. Harpeth will probably remain that contending and challenging team for years to come. They can ball in Cheatham, just better @ HHS and SHS.

I think that 11AA is going to be a really tough region this year. I see a whole lot of talent in a lot of the teams. I think that once again SC will be a underdog team that will suprise a lot of people.

I have been waiting for the start of this season to start for a while. I know that not only the games are going to be heated, but so will the fans. Good Luck to all the 11AA teams out there and hopefully this season will not let any of us down...

I think that this year will be a great year in 11AA also...Although there was a few teams that let me down last year including SC and sycamore (just because they lost to Harpeth in the championship) I think that SC will have another good season probably about the same as last year, except i hope that they will be able to finish a lot stronger than they did last year in the districts this year. Good luck to the Rowdy Rebs fan section this year. they have to be the most outgoing fan section in the whole district... :thumb:

DISTRICTS ARE AT CHEATHAM COUNTY THIS YEAR, AND I THINK THAT WILL BE INTERESTING.

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
