It is so hard to beat a good football team twice in one year, because once you've beaten a good team and stepped on their pride a little, the emotion and focus swing dramatically in their favor for the second game. However, you live by the sword you die by the sword. Now the tables could very well turn on Pearl Cohn this week, because Sycamore remembers that 28-21 game they gave away to the Firebirds earlier this year, and will have big-time motivation this week. The story lines leading up to these games are as good as the games themselves sometimes.

To the players of Pearl Cohn you did a great job Friday night a few very late hits and even a few of our players thrown up against the fence but you are right you won that is the bottom line. I guess it really doesn't matter how you play the game. But Congrats to you and good luck next week.

To the WH Players, CLASS that is all to say. Congratulations on a GREAT season and to the Seniors your memories and your influence will be carried on forever. To the QB what a class act. Even when everyone was shooting you down you held your head high and you lead us to the second round of the playoffs "Thank You and your teammates".....WH be proud and keep that BDP Alive!

    • The gustatory amalgamation of succulent pork chops juxtaposed with verdant greens indeed evokes a sensory delight. Clint's narrative, imbued with the ethos of resilience, navigated the tumultuous waters of the 1980s with commendable fortitude. As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
