Hunters Lane has no pass defense for the most part. And from a solid O-line that Ravenwood has, I see very little pressure getting on the Raptor QB.

 

It might be close at halftime, but close to over by the 4th quarter.

Ravenwood runs more than they pass anyway.

 

And Ravenwood's run defense is unlike any you've ever seen. Including Gallatin's.

 

And above all, Ravenwood has one thing that Hunters Lane will never have: Brian Rector. The man continues to put together incredible gameplans while having his team buy into his system.

 

He's 8-1 in the playoffs and the team is only in its fourth season of varsity football.

 

Ravenwood will definitely bring it to Hunters Lane. I think HLHS definitely has a shot in this one, but I refuse to pick against Brian Rector. Ever.

Everytime I doubt Ravenwood, they prove me wrong.

 

And you can't question success. Last time I checked, there's a big gold ball sitting in Ravenwood's trophy case.

You're trying so hard to create this whole "nobody respects us" belief.

 

Good teams don't care what people have to say about them; they go out there and win.

 

Indeed, the Gold Ball is last year's...I was using it to make a point about Rector as a coach. Mysteriously, you managed to turn that into me not giving HL any respect.

So after reading that about 12 times i think what you are saying is that no one respects Hunters Lane and whenever they doubt you guys yall win and you want people to respect yall.

 

Its not necessarily than no one 'respects you' its just you guys are a #2 seed and you beet a #3 seed first round. Of corse B'wood may have been picked to win but your still a higher seed. Was everyone soppose to be 'surprised' that you pulled an 'upset' in OT?

 

Then your beet a #4 seed in H'ville which by most people(even the Tennessean) your were picked to win. So what kind of respect have yall earned. You won the games you were soppose to win. Kudos.

 

Now with Ravenwood coming in to Hunters Lane alot of people doubt you and Ravenwoood is a very strong and good #4 seed. I think if you beet ravenwood then you will earn alot of respect solely on the fact that you are here to stay. And that you guys are in it for a shot.
