JACKETDAD
I watched the game last night. Just as CYJACKET stated previously, Coalfield did appear to be quite young. Does anyone know how many Sr, Jr, Soph, and Freshman they have playing. Kingston was up by as many as 16 after a couple of quarters. The game ended tied at 41. Isnt Coalfield Single A? I thought the Kingston Girls played a little sloppy, however, they seemed to be trying to push the ball up the floor with a little more success than last season. They will play a lot tougher teams once they start their district play. Definitely need to cut down on their turnovers (sloppy passing). It was good to see them working the ball inside a little more and driving the ball to the basket. They didnt seem to take as many 3 pointers as last year, which in my opinion is good. Good luck to both teams this year.
knight2
Coalfield is very young they only have 1 senior that was a starter last year. They have 1 jr. with no playing time 2 soph. with no playing time 5 frsh. with no play time I think the coaches will have them ready toward the end of the year to make some upsets. If you are going to get the jackets this is the year to do it because the next 2 or 3 years they will be a factor. Good luck Coalfield
JACKETDAD
Was Coafield missing any Freshman yesterday? I was told by someone who watched their 8th graders last year that he thought there was one girl who was a very good ball player that he didnt see at the game last night. We're both from Kingston so he didnt know the girls name.
