You two panty waist Insurance boys pick a score. You don't have to give a blow by blow of each match, cause that might hurt some feelings but at least say" I think that the Baylor school for boys and girls will win 29-27 or Soddy will prevail 28-27"

So far its just No lead in his Pipe picking Soddy by 6 and BCB picking the BSFBAG winning by 2

I need some other Prediction!!!!!

BCB

BCB, I gave you one too (on another string though,,, forget where). I have lost much of my gut though, so who knows,,, but again - Henry and crew just needs to review a tape or two from late last season and build a winning strategy which could pull out an upset victory for SD. Certainly, some of the SD's team leaders will have to step up and prevail. The outcome of this match could be swung by where it starts, like 135-140 or 189-215 for example.

Okay,,, gut says... Baylor by 2, unless the match begins with the momemtum in Soddy's favor at the suggested weights above; If so, Soddy by 6!!

I'm not so sure I want to see us and anyone.....it's going to be a long year with these youngsters we've got.

RMC, Im glad to hear you guys are so young and weak this year. I guess our guys can just look past you and begin thinking about the PARKVIEW duals . Since you guys aare so young how many points do you think you will want. MRSODDY you still will get no points!

I'll let you know after Friday. We have 3 or 4 starters on the football team and the first playoff game is Friday. And as much as it pains me to say it.....we've got a pretty good football team. I think the smallest guy on the offensive line goes about 245 and then they step up to 305.

You may want to start planning for Parkview though. They added Chad Mitchell to the lineup and he just committed to Penn. State.

Mitchell will probably be at 119.

Here is his bio:

Chad Mitchell

Parkview H.S., Lilburn, GA

Projected College Weight: 125

Background: Mitchell began his high school wrestling career when he chose this sport full time over lacrosse. As an undersized freshman he still managed to become a Georgia State Championship Qualifier and just fell short of the medal rounds. Mitchell’s sophomore year showed a significant improvement in posting a 45-1 record on the year and placing 3rd in the state 5A tournament. Additionally, he placed 3rd at the NHSCA pre-season tournament. Mitchell expanded his skill set in the Freestyle and Greco ranks in becoming a 2x Fargo All American his sophomore year. He was also a Georgia 2x Greco and 2x FS champion his sophomore and junior years combined.

As a junior, Mitchell posted a 47-3 record and placed 4th in the state 5A tournament His season included a 7th place finish in the Super 32 which set the tone for 2005.

With a significant amount of time being spent in Colorado at the Olympic Training Center, competitions at the FILA World Team Trials in Chicago and the Junior National events, Mitchell is focused on improving his scoring and his effectiveness on top.

What makes him a top recruit?: Mitchell’s intense work ethic, technical execution, aggressive attitude, instinctive mat positioning and powerful leg speed all combine to drive him to the next level, being Division I as the next phase, following his senior year.

Committed to Penn State

Sorry to post this in this topic, but Soddy-Daisy may see him at McCallie.

Dear athletic supporter Raider, it doesn't go on your nose. However, since you did ask, what do you HONESTLY ( I know you really do not understand that word, but look it up in your Webster ) think the score will be? Since DW is auto 6, why not give me 6 to offset. That will then only make it even. I am still in the floor with my back, BTW, but I plan to work about 2-3 hours each day this week. Thanks so much for your concern and asking how I am. HA

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
