Its Reggie Bomar. And, Deshaun Kizer was still playing football when you saw Lexington. That freshmen is very talented, he will make a difference on the Lexington team. He contributed 11 points in last nights 54-50 loss to Middleton.

Union City just might be loaded. They beat Bolivar by 35 last night. :thumb:

So instead of losing by a whole lot is going to be alot now sorry about that i miss understood you. Lexington doesnt have a shot on beating liberty and probley bolivar and south side.

Very few teams if any in AA or A has a chance against Liberty. Liberty has beaten 2 AAA powerhouses already and got beat by 1 AAA powerhouse by 3.

Lexington is still young, and as the season goes on they will get better. At times they start 2 freshmen and a sophomore, so its still a lot of growing pains right now. I don't see Southside or Bolivar running away with second place in this region. I'm not saying Lexington will have it either, but I think 3 teams in Bolivar, Southside, and McNairy have a shot at it. Lexington is still young, but they will be in the mix before the season is done.

Besides that, this is a thread on freshmen to watch not teams. Kizer, Hehe, and McGill had 11, 6, and 2 respectively last night.. Kizer is averaging about 10 points a game and is a starter. Thats great for a freshman. McGill got the start Friday night at PG and I think he had 8 against a very good JCM squad.

And, I watched Union City yesterday. They probably have one of the best single A teams in the state. Instead of worrying about how AA Lexington will compete in 12-AA, you might need to be worried about how Lake County will get by one of the best A schools around in Union City.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
